Well yes, the district tournament has ended today, and I lost my final, but it was the best match I have ever played thanks to all of you guys.

I lost 3-6,7-6,5-7 , and yea it was a close game
Last time I played him, I lost 3-6,2-6

I'd like to thank all of the people that give me advices before , because I wouldn't make it this close without their help.

Once again, thank you very much!

;)

I'd like to thank everybody on TW too!
I started playing tennis September 2004 (beginning of Freshman year) and I joined TW in March 2005. At the time, I was a benchwarmer on the JV tennis team and the only reason I made the team was because I tried harder and worked harder than most of the other guys. Flashback to the present, I'm playing the #1 Singles spot for JV after a year and a few months of tennis and I'm aiming for Varsity next year.
Thanks guys! :)

yea, so?
I was playing one of my best match ever . It was like almost 4 hours long.
I was completely "DEAD" after the match. Can you imagine it .. 10 bottles of water , 5 bottles of Gatorade. I changed 5 shirts in one match...
and it was 95 degrees outside here in FL.

Where in FL do you live? I live in Pensacola and the district tournament here just ended. Is that the one you were in?

I'd like to thank the tennis tips posters too because I faced some guy who slice served to the deuce side all the time. He'd take me off the court with his wide serve to my forehand and hit to the open court. I was leading 2-1 when we got rained out, but I was worried about his serve game because we we both held on serve that day. Some of you told me to change the direction of his serve by hitting dtl instead of returning crosscourt which is exactly what I did. His backhand turned out to be a liability and I beat him 6-1, 6-1. A tip as simple as return to the bh instead of to the fh gave me a blowout victory over him.

Nice. Good job mate. Maybe next time you will be able to beat him.

It was a close match .. a match which you could have won. You must analyze your game:

-- What did you do or he did on those crucial points that changed the outcome in his favor? Was it technical, tactical, physical, or mental or combination of both. Whatever the reason, work at it in a practice session, and play another tournament to see any improvement.
