Just thinking that I might be getting a blister. I am not there yet but was wondering what I might do to prevent the blister from forming other than taking time off. It is on my right hand on my palm before my thumb. Has anyone used liquid ban-aid??? I know that in a little that my hands will toughen up soon. How about taping or anyother ideas. Many thanks I have first tourney match of the year tommorrow.

Hi 127,

How are you?

I might be able to answer this, since I had a lot of problems with blisters for a few years. All I can do is using the specials Band-Aid (Tough-Strips) and the antibiotics. I only try the liquid Band-Aid for testing and it seems to be effective.

I guess taping your hand before, is the traditionnal way. That's what I'm doing before. Now I had callus so I don't need it for a while. I just hope you won't get a severe case like me. I can bleed badly from my right hand. I guess the best way to prevent is simply to add Band-Aid on your fingers or you can change for a new overgrip.

Good luck for your tournament, I hope you'll win lol!
BTW, will you go to the Masters Series in Toronto this year?

For the area you are talking about, taping may not work too well. I would recommend racquetball gloves.
