I recently have been feeling a lot of pain in my elbow and I am worried. I played a turnoment over the weekend and yesterday I could not play my match because of the pain. I string my racquet at 62 now with hurricane. I moved up 2oz and .25 inches longer in my racquet. Which of these could it be:
-Longer racquet
-weigh more
-hurricane
-higher tension
Thanks

i think swingweight is a huge factor(therefore lenght and weight), and gripsize, dont go too big.

Cause of TE? It could be many things. Hurricane @ 62 pounds, for example.
I got it from the weirdest way. Look out!
I was playing indoors with my warmup on, broke a sweat, and played in my t-shirt. My arm got tight from the coldness. I immediately felt pain, and have been nursing TE for 3 months now.

Most likely due to the last two factors. At 62 lbs, that's already at the high end of the recommended tension plus Hurricane is a poly string, both of which are known to lead to TE.
The third factor is technique. I asked a friend of mine who is a professional physical therapist and she told me that excessive form of wrist motion leads to TE and suggested wrist curls to help remedy the condition.

poly at 62 is very tight. Try 52.
