View Full Version : LM Prestige Midplus Vs Head ProTour 280(630) by HEAD Austria

Just to resume my weekend, ...some guys in the tennis department of Head, in Austria, told me that the new LM Prestige Midplus, should be very close to the old Pro Tour 630(280). And the players(ATP) are changing to it...
I wonder how much these rackets can be/feel similar... Can anyone post your opinion here?

Great racquets both but I dont think they feel the same so to speak. Similarities are that they are both flexible thin beamed sticks with very good control, dense pattern, not a ton of power for sure. I probably prefer the 280 but felt it too head heavy for my tastes, couldnt really fling it around. Maybe I'm getting old. 280 is definitely a little heavier and less HL than LM. I am sure some purists here wince at the notion of the LM being compared to 280. Great deal on 280 at around $50 if you can swing it. Hope that answers it.

Very similar rackets. The 280 is a little heavier, a little more flexible, and more muted feeling. Hey, how can you go wrong for $50 getting a stick that was designed with the help of Thomas Muster, and played by, among others, Guga? (I know, he plays the 630, with the cap grommets, picky picky...)
