Lately, ive been thinking that i have too much bulk on my body (both muscle and fat). Is it advisable to lose both at the same time? Is there even a way to do that?

I might be wrong but I think when you lose weight, your less used muscle actually goes first as it's easier for the body to dissolve muscle tissues than fat. It depends a lot on genetics though. Better consult a physician.

You could probably cut a couple of hundred calories/day from your diet, and lift weights several times a week. This should help you preserve your muscle tissue, while getting rid of some bodyfat. If you lose weigth via dieting alone, you'll lose a lot more muscle along with the fat. Also do several high-intensity cardio sessions a week, no more than 15-20 per workout.
