What exactly do you need to know if you're working a store that sells tennis equipment like shoes, rackets, strings, string jobs? I mean, say you're just going to work there part time for some extra cash for textbooks or something...

Your thoughts...

Anyone with experience jump in too...

I would assume it depends on what you are going to do. If you are just going to string racquets then all you have to know is how to do a good string job. If you are working register or salesperson then I would assume at least just know the products your shop carries and keep up to date on all new products coming in. Know what racquets fit what kind of players.

I would know categories of racquets for each company, tweeners, players racquets etc.

The ability to ******** customers without getting caught.
This isn't too hard considering most of them will be mum and dad buying for little timmy.
