View Full Version : Poly Polar or Polylon....which is better?

Going to restring a Ti.Radical OS (that I don't use any more but what to give it a swing one more time) with either Topspin Poly Polar 17g or Gosen Polylon 17g.

In your opinion, which is the better string? {I'm assuming the Poly Polar because of the price}

If I typically strung the racquet with Prince Synthetic Gut 17g at 67 pound before, what should I string it at with either of these strings?

Thanks for any help.

imo, polyon is pretty crisp, whereas poly polar is on the soft end of poly's.

i personally like poly polar better thou it has a bad habit of losing tension.

Never tried the Polylon, but I agree on the PolyPolar. It loses a lot of tension quicly and is soft, even springy feeling.

I agree. The Poly Polar is definitely the softer option. I would prefer this in an all poly but Polylon is better in a hybrid.

I never used poly polar, but I love polylon. Really firm and crisp, I string it at 65 cause I love a firm feel, and stiff too.

Thanks guys for the help. I decided to go with the Topspin Poly Polar 17g and had the racquet {head ti.radical os} strung at 64 pounds. I appreciate your help and advice.
