hmmm I don't think you'd be able to play tennis with a weighted wristband - probably for about 10 minutes , depending on your level.

My suggestion, assuming you want a stronger wrist / arm, would be take a 5-10lb dumbell and mimic your tennis swings for some reps, you'll definitely feel it.

Or you could put your racquet in its case and swing the case, but that's a bit weird.

good luck

i got 2 lbs wristbands for tennis. It has a strap that u wrap around the wrist. I dont think its possible to get a wrist band with no strap because u have to stretch it out over your hands. Why dont u try adding lead tape instead?

Try Babolat's Strong Wrist. It has stuff in it to stop you hurting your wrist, so it should be heavier than normal wristbands.

i made some weighted wristbands by adding flattened fishing weights to regular wristbands and covering them up with another set of wristbands. I added about 8oz. to each wrist. Great practice aid to smooth out strokes. I played a match with them with someone I usually beat and won as usual. Adds power but is harder to get the speed going. You can buy some that are made for baseball players and exercise with lead pellets but are pricey and too heavy.

Isn't using weighted wristbands while tennis a sort of plyometric exercise? I would believe such practice would increase explosiveness of your swing.

or use a heavier racquet or use PowerDisc?

Weighted glove would really rock

You can also buy ankle/wrist weights which you can strap to your arms/legs during exercise. You could use this, and only put a little amount of weight in, or you could wrap lead tape around your arm....
