oh yar, you're right, federer uses an eastern backhand. extreme eastern is used by henin from WTA...my bad, my bad...:p

extreme eastern, same one federer is using mate'...Nuh uh . . . Fed uses the continental-ebh for his BHs. He uses the bizarre mixuture semiwestern on his FHs, not on BHs. The OP was asking about "BHs". :mrgreen:

oh yar, you're right, federer uses an eastern backhand. extreme eastern is used by henin from WTA...my bad, my bad...:pOh, I thought what you meant by extreme eastern was the "mixed eastern and semiwestern" that Fed uses on his FHs. He really does use a weird eastern grip for his FH, and so that's what I thought you were talking about. Haha. Either way, you were wrong about his "BH grip". Haha.

Eastern is good. Semi- western is great!, but it requires good knee's bend. Gastón Gaudio is an example for sw, only he is a gifted player and not easy to emulate
