Does anyone here have experience with both rackets? Is there any specs on the RD-7? How it compare to the RDX 500? I have been using RD-7 for the past 10 years. I currently have two right now but I crack one of them a few days ago. I am looking at the RDX 500 as replacement. Picked up a demo today and feel a little bit different. Though is better than the recent Yonex that I have tried in recent years such as the ti-50 and muscle power series. Any ways to modify RDX 500 so it will play more like the RD-7? Other Yonex alternatives? Thanks in advance. Need all the feedback to help me decide!!

I've also been playing with the Spinmeister for the last 7 years and have slowly been building up my stock. I'd suggest scouring this Board and **** if you want to continue with the 7.
Regarding the specs, here's a comparison:
RD-7 Head: 95
Weight: 12.3 oz
RDX 500 Head: 90 Head: 98
Weight: 11.8 oz Weight: 11.7 oz
SW: 318 SW: 315
Stiffness: 60 Stiffness: 62
Above specs are from TW's site.
From the above, it appears the 500 is going to be much easier to bring around but you may sacrifice a smidgeon on the control...
Good luck choosing and, if you do pick up the 500, post your impressions!
