I didn't know what other board to put this in, but this is a video of Federer making one of the most amazing shots i've ever seen him pull off.

Was that match point, is that why Roddick walked over and shook his hand, or was it just because he was just as shocked as us?

Here's a funny comercial with Roger for those that are interested: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bEZRm0l8XoY

EDIT: I must have mispelled "shot" in the title... whoops : p

Hey Juggurnaut, just saw this post, that was amazing. It is like what does a guy have to do to win a point? Roddick was stunned. I would have fainted. :)

Well, yes, I guess if you think the ball would bounce out of reach then okay.

But look at Federer's read. Look at how quick he moved and then slowly look at how cleanly he struck the ball with very good form in that overhead.

Maybe it was luck that the ball didnt leave the court, but it was skill to anticipate like he did and position himself like that to hit the ball that cleanly.

I agree, bad luck for Roddick to have to play Federer again and again and again.

There's an old adage in tennis...

The better you are, the luckier you get!

Awesome point, did Fed put a little slice on that overhead to get it to hook back in or did he just hit it so hard and accurate that Roddick had no time to react? Awesome get on a ball Roddick thought he had put away.

That looks like a younger Roddick, when was that match?

That second point was amazingly long between Hewitt and Federer. Those two have nerves of steel to play out a point like that.

Freelans,

Yeah, that's an awesome rally. Notice how Fed stays on his toes, always moving, and never flat footed.
