I was wondering if you are allowed to carry on tennis bags for flights. I just hate to have to check-in and wait to pick up the bag (basiacllay all I'm taking on my flight is a tennis bag and backpack)
Thanks in advance

The only problem I have had is on Southwest. If you are in group C you may not have an overhead compartment available when you board. Just be sure you check in early enough to be in group A or B. Also, I have a 6 pack and it just fits in the overhead storage. Any larger bag may be a problem. Some flight attendants might question you, but just tell them it fits overhead. And remember, you can only carry on two bags.

I had to use my friend's 3-pack bag for when I went to Jamaica because I asked beforehand and they would not allow my Wilson Six Pack. It was too big. Some companies may allow a six pack but I would bring a 3 pack just in case.

I have a Yonex Tournament series 6 pack bag, and I was planning on taking it with me to Europe this summer. I was only going to take 2 racquets and fill the rest with clothes, so it won't actually be the full size of the bag.
I'm flying on KLM, and they say they have a max dimension of 115 cm (46 inches), and I know the bag fits within those dimensions, but is just longer than other carry on bags like those rectangle carry alls.
Hopefully the plane isn't full and I get some slack.

Some companies have perimeter size limit. Which I think is the limit of the addition of all 3 dimensions, right?
