Say Fed finishes his shower and press conference, and goes back to the court, only to take a seat and watch the Nadal/Lub match as a spectator. Not that he's doing it but would it be considered bad sportsmanship? I never see players do that and wonder why.

They usually watch it on tv in their hotel or locker rooms where they can get expert analysis (besides their own). Unless they are friends, pros usually don't come out to watch each others games.

he wouldnt! he'd just watch it on the telly in the locker room.
plus, if he did then all the attention will be on him being ther..
then maybe nadal will be distracted and lose.. humm.... lol

Why would he go sit at the stands, where he wouldn't be left alone? He'll see it on tv... By now, Federer must have seen more Nadal matches on tv than all of us here together, lol...

Also why does he need to sit there? He already knows game of Nadal and he will get nothing new from watching such a match.

Pros do this but only when they support one of 2 sides. For example Santoro was sitting at some matches of Gasquet.

That isn't a great idea because if your prospective opponent in the final is playing great tennis in the semi final, it may make a dent in your confidence.
