In Greg Garber's ESPN column, he compares Nadal and Federer. "The Minotaur, as students of mythology know, was eventually defeated. Greek hero Theseus navigated the labyrinth and slayed the half-man, half-beast.

In 48 hours we will know if Roger Federer is that hero."

Personally, I would compare Sunday's final to a battle between Conan the Barbarian (Nadal) versus James Bond (Federer). Nadal is not that heavily muscled, and Federer is not as slick or the ladies man, but it works.

breakfast_of_champions--My friend, perhaps you missed your bowl of cereal this morning and that would be the reason why you're not thinking too well? Or you've had too many of the delicious Coronas you have pictured their in your avatar?

The Federer-Nadal matchup is a very even one. Neither of these players ever kills the other in a match.

It will be, very simply, a battle of Vamos vs Alles.

Except Fed can say it in perhaps 5 languages, so he should have the edge !!

What do you mean a match between vamos and allez? Federer's first language isn't french.

federer had an incredibly ez draw, beating such clay court greats as berdych, and ancic. nalbandian would have taken fed out in 3 sets. nadal in straights.
