No, she did win the point. That shot was the end of the rally. The crowd is cheering because the shot was good.

I remember watching this live and at that time, and still now, don't understand why she hit the ball between her legs-that ball looked very gettable by conventional means-unless she figured she already lost the point and just hot-dogged it (and got lucky).

i think she overan it.

at least it didn't end up like roddick's attempt... although if she'd done it, it would have been less painful.
