You know there will be one.
Considering he is a lucky and doesn´t draw Fed along the way, who is your dark horse to reach Wimby´s QFs surprisingly?

I would put Gasquet and Fish as alternatives but it´s only 10 spots maximum for the poll =(

Out of those you listed, I think Phillipusies has the best shot. He hasn't played much but has a good grasscourt game that hopefully carried over from his 03 final with Fed

Ancic wouldn´t be a surprise.
And Mayer I thought would be lucky to get to the third round.

Henman. but I guess that wouldn't be a big surprise.
Ok, Stanislas Wawrinka is my pick

Agree with Rhino: Henman. Maybe Hewitt as well. For the women: Hingis, and the girl who beat Williams at the French open.

I think Nadal has a good chance in making it to the quarterfinals. He played well against Hewitt at queens club, but unfortunately he got injured. I think Nadal will be a strong contender in Wimbledon.

Henman...has no sting in his strokes.

None of those people are really that surprising, except maybe Vliegen.

I would have said Nadal before seeing him this week at the Stella Artois, but he was playing outstanding tennis on grass. Not enough to win, but definitely enough to go deep at Wimbledon.

He's my dooooog!!!!
He's a great player, and for X or Y reasons, he doesn't go that well in the Pro Tour. Marvelous serve, great backhand, very smart, very attacking player, very smooth. Loves the grass :)

I've seen Bracciali live on grass last year, he's a class act when he's confident and on a roll. Has a great serve and his game suits grass. He outplayed Lopez at Queens, I don't know why he got comfortably beaten by mirnyi, I thought Bracciali would win. Hopefully that's just a blip and if he gets a good draw at Wimbledon he could reach quaters definately.

Tursunov but i'm not sure it would be totally out of the blue.

Maybe a clay courter like Verdasco who did well at Queens may be a surprise package.

From the list though I would go with Djokovic.

I vote for Roddick being the biggest dissapointment when he is out early.

Same here. Daniele Bracciali is a good call, too. Hopefully to the second week.

Of the contenders ready for a final, I am for Ancic and Gasquet.

Probably Cliff Richard, cause by QF stage it will no doubt be raining ! ;) No I think the big Poo might be a giant killer. He seems to be finding some form of late and he grows a leg on grass !

Wow - that's an amazing list of grass-court-capable-players in the un-seeds :).

I bet Fed / Hewitt / many of the top hopes would be praying they don't get some of them in the early rounds!. Probably those running Wimbledon have similar prayers that such matchups don't happen too! Especially Rusedski, Dent, Safin & Philippoussis too - on the right day they could pretty much blow people off the court without so much as giving their opponent a look-in!
