Great stuff! I'd prefer classic specs: strung weight 12 oz, swingweight 320, length 27.5 inch. I'll take 4 of those. Any idea how long it will take till it comes available?

I want it as it should be, 100sqi, 28 inches, 12 ozs.

I will take 5 of those, and TW when will you get them????

POG Longbody: 28 inches (of course), 100 sqi, 12-12.2 ozs, leather grip.
I'd take 3 of these, maybe more. I hope it works out!

BTW will TW make this only available to people in the US?

As the demand will obviously be so high?

Please don't!!!! I will even be willing to pay the $80 in shipping, VAT and tax for 5 of these beauties.

i would love it if TW could get this frame. a true midplus POG? awesome. i know last time don took a poll as to how we would prefer it: 28 or 27.5 inches long. i think if they're going to bring it back, bring it back the way that it originally was. i would probably get a couple. who knows, maybe i wouldn't like it. on the other hand, it could be the Grail.

C'mon fellows. What is really the mystique about a POG LB? This becoming to be like the Wilson Prostaff St. Vincent?

Is this really happening? The same thing was said almost a year ago, and I got my hopes up just to have it all come crashing down. But hey, if the POG LB can be done, then I'm all for bringing some in.

Eh, longbodys are soooo yesterday in the words of the immortal Hillary Duff. I don't like anything over a MP headize, but if there must be a 100 head size POG, I would want it to be a standard length one, and more maneuverable than the POG Mid.

I would settle for either length, and weight at 12 oz . How nice to have a 100 sq. inch racket head and a 19mm beam. I am struggling with the TT graphite as we speak.

Would be interesting to see the POG LB brought back. However, once TW gets the opportunity to get ready to sell them, Prince is probably going to introduce another crappy update of the POG.

12.2oz strung, 100sqi, 19mm beam width, 320 - 325 SW, 7 - 8 pt head light strung, leather grip, 27.5 or 28 inch both okay. I'll buy 3

Swingweight of around 325 would be ideal and please keep it a longbody at 28 inches.

i'm demoing the POG 93 right now from TW. i was just telling myself that i wished that this racket came in a head size close to the midplus size. i would love for the POG longbody to come out on tw. i would buy 3 of them. I would prefer it to be 27.5 length. Most rackets that are 100 square inches are 27.5 like the prokennex 7g, babolats, i prestige. Any longer may be too excessive. The perfect POG for me would be a standard length, 98 square head. It would be an upgrade from my liquid metal radical miplus, with more weight, and an open string pattern.

The POG 100sqi 27 inches isn't hard to find at all.

But if the longbody came back it would have to be 28 inches long, just like they were made to be, it wouldn't be the real POG MP longbody if it wasn't.

So any news TW??????

gmslam, I think people are looking for a racquet with good control and that classic POG feel with a little more power via the added length. Also, there are so many baseliners around using 2 handed backhands, they like the extra length to give them a little more court coverage. Also, they look at what players like Guiermo Coria and Ferrerro can do with one and they want one too. And, any racuquet that is at the moment unobtainable has to be better, right?!

T-bolt
07-10-2004, 07:22 PM
You may have heard it here first (maybe not), I think the return of 1" and longer racquets are on its way back again. The advantages outweigh the disadvantages ,more so for older players and female players. I still don't understand why Prince did not want to supply TW with these racquets. It seems like none of the players on this site like any of the new Prince line and are not buying them so why not suppy us with something we want, at least we will have a Prince racquet in our hands when playing/teaching instead of some other brand! Doesn't that sell racquets !!! And TW sells tennis product so if they know there is a demand why would they not want to sell 500 -5000 whatever it may be, I am sure they want sales! So if you guys can keep the post going maybe the powers at be will think a little and do the right thing for everyone

You're the same kid who couldn't afford to buy used POGs on **** because of Customs fees.

Feņa14
08-27-2004, 03:43 PM
I could afford it, but I don't really see the point of paying $80-90 on top of what I have already brought.

Whats the point in that?
