Try Yonex shoes! They definately make the lightest tennis shoes with awesome comfort and support! Currently I'm wearing the one hewitt and nalby are wearing and I would definately recommend them!

If you have wide feet. Otherwise, check out the BIIs.

The feather 2's are light, however they don't last nearly as long as any Barricade.

barricade 3s marginally lighter, but barricade 2s would meet your requirements most!

They work for hard courts. They just don't have too much cushioning, but still great shoes. Could use more support too.

so what would be a good hardcourt shoe that has good cushioning and stability?

K-Swiss Ultrascendors. A little heavier (0.5oz) than the ClimaLite Feathers, but they feel more substantial. The Feathers are very comfortable, but they feel like slippers.

well, my dad is already using the ultrascendors, and wanted to switch to something more stable and with more cushioning. he tried wearing my barricade 4's and said they were comfortable but were too heavy so he wants something with comfort but it has to be light
