View Full Version : Super Fine Play or Klip Kicker?
Could I get a quick comparison of these two strings? Did a search, but there isn't too much on the Kicker.
Will be ordering one of these in 17g reel, using sometimes as a cross string in a hybrid and sometimes as a full job.
Are either of these stellar enough playbility-wise to displace the lower cost of the OG Generic Micro reel?

i had a reel of superfine play 17g and now have a reel of og micro in 16. but for a 17g synthetic gut, babolat SFP was not durable at all. it does play very soft however, but i prefer the feel of og micro as it plays a bit more crisp.

I agree with snoflewis. SFP is not durable at all. I would suggest you to get the reel of micro sheep. It's only $30 and it lasts much longer than SFP.

I thought you were only going to consider Kicker, SFP or the Gosen generic. I also thought you clearly said the only criteria was to be playability.

Yes, that's right Valjean. Thanks for your answer. I break a full Generic Micro job in about 2-3 hours and I have my own machine, so durability is not an issue.

playability wise, i like the og micro better...but the sfp plays softer, if that's what you like. haven't tried the klip kicker yet.
