Depends on how much money you have. They don't have a lot of stuff in there.

My only lasting memory of touing the place is a pair of shoes worn by Edberg, with some clay on them.

It's well worthy the money. You'll know many great players from the past.

It's $70/hour for non-member now, $40/half hour.

I went a couple of years ago when I was in Newport for a conference and thought it was worth the money (< $10 IIRC). I also dragged a friend with me who was not even a tennis player and they were not entirely bored. YMMV.

Definitely worth it to go at least once if you're a tennis fan. I went two years ago for the Hall of Fame induction and the tournament. I'd like to go again someday.

One thing that surprised me is they don't have nice metal plaques for the enshrinees, like at the baseball hall of fame. They have what look like big index cards typed up with the person's info with a black and white photo slapped on, then they laminate it and tape it to a post. Next time I go I'm going to make an index card for myself and slap it on one of those posts, voila I'm a Hall of Famer.
