Prior to his surgery, Coria had a pinpoint service motion. After the surgery, he used a platform style. It helped him get over 40 aces in his quarterfinal run at last year's US Open - and over 80 double faults.

Why the reversion? I miss the guy on tour anyway; he is fun to watch.

He probably wanted to beef up his serve. Unfortunately, it led to a lot of double faults.

Pinpoint is better for short people, it gives you more vertical thrust. Coria def can benefit from using pinpoint.

whatever he's doing it seems to be doing ok..?
