Agassi and Jimmy Conners have the best two-handed backhand ever.

End of story...next question. No 2 players can or will ever crack open a point with a two hander down the line like these two can. Plain and simple.

Safin and Agassi hands down. Too bad Andre is going out at the US Open and Safin has been plagued with injuries/mental break outs and can't get back into the top.

last year i would have said agassi and safin...but now i would say agassi and nadal.....safin's always powerful backhand has become inconsistent...while nadals backhand has always been consistent and now is becoming powerful

come on marat is not long back from injury, he'll get back into the swing of things and back in the top 10.

Nalby...... I watched him live twice. The ball he hit were heavy and fast!! the cross court angles he can hit with were amazin'!

There are different things to each of those backhands that pretty much make them awesome.

Safin, because he can crank it harder than anybody else.
Agassi, because he can pick them off the rise quick.
Nalbandian, because he's so consistent and uses it resourcefully.

I don't think Nadal has much in the way of his backhand ... it's good ... but not the weapon the aforementioned players have. You have to admit, though, seeing him flick those unlikely winners from bad positions with his backhand is pretty enjoyable.

Nalbandian and Nadal have the best backhands in the top 10, but they're not the same caliber of Agassi and the Safinator. Watching the RCA tournament it surprised me how nice Malisse' backhand was, like Nalbandian's, but less consistent.

For the men's side, I would have to give it to Safin because it's a 'perfect' backhand. On the women's, Venus Williams or Lindsay Davenport have great backhands.
