Is there any difference between those two serves?

I used to have what you would call more of a topspin slice serve until I was able to learn the kick serve. I like to call it a slice hop.
With a kick serve, you are brushing up the ball a little bit more from the left side than that of a slice hop. (assuming being a right hander)

You might want to do a search for "kick serve" and "twist serve" as these have been discussed a few times. A kick serve = topspin serve...it kicks up toward the receiver after landing in the service box. A topspin-slice, as it's name implies, has slice and topspin and behaves differently when it lands. As ZPTennis said, it "hops" more straight up than a kick. It may also curve depending on how hard it is hit, how much spin is used, and the toss location.
