What is DC? I downloaded most of the music I like back when limewire and kazaa were running amuck. Now I am stuck looking for some old cds (from the 60s) but atleast back then, 12 songs in a cd meant 12 good songs, not just one like today.

DC is a program called "Direct connect". I used to be able to download files with that program with amazing speed, reaching up to ~20mb/sec
on maybe 1/1000 users and normally somewhere around 200-800kb/sec speed. Though I havent been able to use it to download anything for over a year now for some unknown reason. It sucks.

Same here but the downside with torrents is that they need users to "seed" them so the download speed remains good. It's very hard to download an old movie/series/song that no one is seeding since the speed is 0kb/sec.
