In your opinion, which would be more likely to cause tennis elbow: Using a grip that is too large or using a grip that is too small?

I've been playtesting a couple racquets that have a 4 3/8" grip. I added two overgrips to each, trying to bring them closer to what I typically use: 4 5/8" plus an overgrip. I've noticed some pain in my elbow so I would say that a grip that is too small would be more likely to cause elbow pain.

Interested to hear your opinions.

anything that causes you to squeeze your racquet too tightly (such as a smaller grip) is going to cause tension in the hands, wrist, and arm. I can see how that causes a variety of arm troubles as well as less controlled shots and less swing velocity.

My elbow doesn't hurt.... but I can like pop it if I straighten it out. This isn't good is it?
