hi, i want to add lead on my tfight 325 for baseline and serve mostly, can anyone tell me where and how much to add, i hit heavy forhand topspin with my full western grip and a 2 handed backhand with some topspin, should i add lead at 12,3 and 9, and the same amount on the grip, let me know what to do, thanks

I would try some lead at 3 and 9--just don't go overboard. If you have to add too much lead, you could probably find a better racket for you.

On a side note...how are you enjoying the O3 Tour Midplus. I just made the switch to the Babolat Aeropro Control + that you traded me for the tour. Hope all is going well.

thanks, what about at 12, if i want to improve serve, i add lead at 12, right, and yes, i like the o3 tour, thanks

Adding lead at 12 will drastically affect swingweight

but what if i add the same amount inside the grip

but what if i add the same amount inside the grip

It will work to maintain the original balance, but the swingweight will increase even more.

Considering both your aim and style and the stock weight of your racquet, I would tell you: just place 3-5 gr at 12 and then see what happens.

Take 3 gr as the point of start and force yourself not to go over 5 gr (unless you're superfit).
If the stability is not an issue and you just want power go this way; lead tape at 3 and 9 (the choice I love the most, for the record) suits better an all around game.

Let us know.

I found that just a couple of grams at 3 and 9 did the job. It didn't mess the balance up too much but added a bit more stability along with an extra bit of pop.

Start small and increase over time if I were you.

because it's an extended length frame adding lead at 12 may make the sw too high over a long match.

i've found best success adding lead at 3/9 and counter weighting at the bottom of the handle. that way the stock balance is kept which makes it easier to get around. note that i haven't done this to my 325's, just other frames.

keep in mind the tf 325 is close to 12 oz strung anyway. how much heavier do you need the racquet to be?

hi, i put 4g at 12 and 2g each at 3 and 9, i dont think i notice any sw increase so maybe it just increase a little, i notice that the power on my forhand increase with more topspin, volley were easier, let me know if this set up is right or wrong, thanks

If it works for you then it can only be right. With a little bit of lead at 12 you should be fine, it probably moved the sweetspot up slightly so maybe thats where you were hitting before you leaded it up.

The specs of the 325 mean it can be a bit awkward to customise fully but a bit of tweaking here and there can be perfect. Sounds like your pretty happy with what you have .

I put 8g total at 9 and 3. I think that it so more stable and solid. I can really feel it on the serve. You told me that you didn't have the Tfights anymore. I put nothing under the grip and it volleys like a dream.
