Hey 4.5 14 year old that is an aggressive baseliner but is trying to start using the whole court i have more control than power and im looking for a racquet with a nice blend of control and power like 50/50 or 60/40 im not a really big topspin hitter but i do use alot i like hiting flater shots more. I have an alright serve but im looking for a racquet to juice it up a little and im really looking for a racquet with a 100 sq. in. head size. Right now im looking at the Babolat Pure Drive Team Standard, pure drive roddick (either one), and the nCode nPro Open. Do you think these racquets will fit my game. If not can you guys give me any more suggestions. Thanks

If your arm can handle the Pure Drive, then go ahead. But keep in mind, it is one stiff frame. Pure Storm is the best stick in the Babolat line up. I would suggest that you consider Mfil 300 as well. That is one great all around stick.

100 squin frames are great, but if you're not a big topspinner a frame as stiff as the PD will be hard to control. If you like to hit flat and want to develop a net game, get yourself something with some swingweight to it and not too stiff. In the Wilson line, maybe the Surge instead of the Open. Mfil 300 is OK, although it's a 98, you could also consider its more powerful cousin, the Maxply McEnroe. PK Laver S. Prince Turbo Shark. Or in the Bab line, the AeroPro Drive or Storm could work for you. Any of these would make a good all-court stick for a strong 14-year-old. Good luck!

I think if you do not use spin the pure drive is a no no.

Yonex RDX 300 or RDS 001 if you really want 100'' head (RDX is 98'') are both really nice rackets. They are easy to serve with and add some extra pop. Also nice and forgiving but with bags of control.

I personally use a pure storm by babolat, if you like the babolat feel then this is IMO the best stick in their lineup.

Get a prestige. You'll be able to hit pretty flat with it but still get spin.

Yonex rds 003 is a great stick for 50/50 power control, 100sq.
