alright, I use a 2 handed backhand but for some reason my best backhands are off of low balls and I struggle the most with high bouncing balls. I'd like to be able to hit a decent slice but my slice off the high ball is even worse than my topspin shot, when I try to slice it, the ball generally falls into the bottom of the net or is just a short ball with a high bounce and gets put away easily. Right now I use a continental grip for my slice, whats a good way to fix this problem? (or alternatively, a good way to deal with hitting a high bouncing ball with topspin) and by the way, sorry if my post made no sense at all, but im a little tired right now

hit the high ball like a volley and just slice it
try it next time
it takes a while to get use to

On high balls to my backhand I usually like to
-take it early or
-use the slice and keeping the swing aroung the shoulder area from start to finish or
-back up a little and jump using the 2 hander

True, it's kind of hard to filter out the real situation, here, but if your balls fall short and bounce high, I'd say you are trying for too much slice on them(like you'd hit a dropshot).

Try hitting more through the ball (toward where you want it to go), with a smooth stroke.

Make your racquet face more perpendicular to the court, and hit through. You'll still put slice on it, but you'll get more depth.

You need more down motion on the ball than with a normal slice or you'll end up with a really wacky lob.

i am not sure from your description, but the way i do it is you start high, and going thru the slice motion you also hit forward (kinda like push) at the ball at the same time, and use your other hand and arm for balance. what i also like to do is pull my racket to the right for some sidespin too

I think in that super slo mo Federer vid (on Youtube) he hits a high slice. You should check that out if you want to see some excellent technique.

On my high slice I have to go slightly further than continental. I'll be gripping right between continental and... western? (I think) I'll be right on the corner between those two grips and I can get a nice deep shot with a relatively straight line flight path from racquet to opposite court.
