I love my semi-western forehand, I can do just about anything with it, and I really want to replicate that in my backhand. I dont know what to call my backhad grip, but I'm a leftie, and my left hand is holding the grip as if it were an eastern forehand and my right hand is holding the grip as if it were a right handed eastern forehand. anyway, my backhand is really good at dealing with low balls and drives very well, but if its anything above my waste the ball will have some pace but lands around the service line. but anyway, what should I chance my grip to so I can get a good amount of topspin off of my backhand. also, I just use a straight takeback on my backhand, would looping it help me at all?

When I used a 2 hander, I used to use the same eastern/eastern grip, but if you want the mirror image of a semi western fh grip on the 2hbh side, you should have your right hand in a semi western fh and your left hand in a continental. With a 1hbh, the mirror image is the eastern backhand grip.
