Does anyone have any opinions on this site? Is it worth the membership?
I mean short of hiring a private coach...

Tennisplayer.net offers an astonishing video library of pro strokes. The quality (and quantity) of their library is unmatched. And there are instructional articles from top tennis instructors ranging from Nick Bollitieri to John Yandell. I encourage anyone interested in pro technique to join. It's a priceless resource in my opinion. I wish it had been around when I was a junior :)

it's weird but i found jeff's videos (maybe the camera angle?) helped me learn technique better, and i was a member of tennisplayer.net and read every article they had almost (and i mean just the ones jeff gave for free here)

It is $19.99 for a year? The footage is way more crisp and more frames, not only that but JC is just like us, so he gets in on the perspective we most want and need.

Btw this tennisone vs. tennisplayer thread was visited just a couple of days ago and Jeff said same about tennisplayer - and nothing about his own excellent site.
I've really enjoyed being a member so far (not to take anything away from his endorsement - in fact, has made me think so more about shelling out for the tp site...)

I have to say Jeff's site is great. A great value and a great perspective.

I forget what tennisplayer.net costs, but to me it's worth it if you're serious about tennis.
If I can get even a few good, useable, "aha!" insights per year it's well worth the price.

I joined tennisplayer.net last month...
I am very pleased so far... I may also be joining the site you mention above as well.
If you really are serious about tennis, I honestly think you should join www.tennisplayer.net. It's worth every penny.
A lesson with a teaching pro will cost you between $ 50 - $ 100 per hour.
One year of tennisplayer.net membership only cost you around $ 90 / year.
Go for it. I give tennisplayer.net my highest recommendation.
