i know i made a thread before about my forehand and etc.. but that was about generating power anywhere i have a semi western grip and i love topspin but my only prob is that nowi cant get a good topspin with deph my forehand are kinda short and recently ive been shanking the hell out of alot of forehands i know keep my eye on the ball but thats prob i do and i cant ficure the prob out so ur opinions are welcome thanks again for helping me in advance

You have a semi western fh grip and you are shanking the ball. Chances are your point of contact is quite low (the top frame is tilted forward, the bottom frame is tilted backwards) because your racket head is close at contact! The reality is that you hit the ball with strings-bed not the frame; thus the racket must be vertical at contact so that strings are exposed to the ball!
For semi western fh grip, the ideal point of contact is between your mid-section and chest and more in front.
For depth: High circular backswing (your right hand knuckles your head height), chest-high point of contact, hit through more, and follow through, and you will have depth on your shots.

i think one of the probs aswell is that right when im makin contact with the ball a friend pointed out to me that i dont hold my grip tight enough and for the link that u gave me i was wondering if u could give me a more specific link but thanks for that tip more opinions welcome
