Your favorite balls?

I personally like dunlop. They feel a little heavier than the wilsons i'm accustomed to.....Like little rockets!...

Vote away

Those new Gamma Pro Tours are just outstanding.

Slazenger Wimbledon balls are my choice, but you don't have that option.
For wilson, only certain balls are good. some of them are too light and too bouncy. it is not popular afterall.

All Dunlops vs their counterparts by other companies.

Dunlop Championship balls are great, do not use them for dubs cuz guys complain they are too fast. Helium balls. Dunlop Grand Prix balls are the best, guys complain they are too hard and heavy. So I use what everyone else uses, Penn soft court or Pro Penns.

Penn, but only because they sell the 4 can of ATP championship Penn cheaper than any of the can of 3 balls. 1.89 isn't bad for a can of 4.

08-29-2006, 05:22 AM
that's exactly how i feel.... though wilson now also has a 4 can for the same price... i just dont like those.... penn atp all the way!

Slazengar Ultra Vis

I think they last longer and I like the 4 pack

Anyone try the prince balls? Any opinions? Would be nice since no one uses them so it's easy to identify balls when playing with others around.

Penn ATP are excellent, plus won't mix them up with other courts. However, not available locally, must be ordered.

I voted for the dunlops that i use recreationally, they are just the plain ol' $2/can..... how do the other versions of dunlops play?

Don't know about the orange one, but i found a can of old spalding championshiop balls in my basement - been there for years, so i opened it and it played beatifully
