I recently played with an old wilson racquet (mostly white and said ceramic on it) and the grip on this racquet was the best I had ever felt. It was way tackier than any leather I've felt from the start. Every other leather grip I've tried took a little sweat from my hands to feel tacky. It was an old wilson leather grip. I know it must be different from the newer wilson leather grips because the color was very different and it felt so much better. I did a little searching and read that fairway made the some of the older wilson leather grips. Is this true? and has anyone ever tried both the fairway leather grip and rpny leather (not artificial leather) grips? do they feel the same like rpny says they do?
