I've only met and seen two pros in the LA area teach, and they weren't very good. But I've heard lots of good things about the Burbank Tennis center. Have you checked that place out? If not, I recently figured out about a guy in Pasadena who used to be on ATP. Forgot his name, but it'll definitely come back. In the mean time, check out this list: http://usptafindapro.com/index.cfm?act=findapro.cfm&&MenuGroup=Find%2Da%2DPro&findapro=next10&city=Los%20Angeles&states=&zip=&country=USA&distance=20&lastname=&nMaxrows=100

I know a teacher that was an All-American at UCLA and played the tour during the Laver era. He was almost top 10 and he is still willing to teach some students and can produce world class players. I think he is tops in the LA area, especially since he only charges $50/hr. Email me if your interested. JoeSch@woodtennis.com
