Duratac for me is more like a comfort grip... Since its my replacement grip... With wilson pro overgrip, its pretty soft.

But from what I've tried, I think the Microtac is better for tackiness.

try the pro kennex overgrip. very tacky and it lasts a long time, at least 3-4 times longer than yonex super grab

Tackiest tennis player? I'm thinking Bethanie Mattek.

Kidding. I read the thread. I thought yonex supergrap did come in black?! It definitely comes in a very dark navy blue -- I have some.

BTW, Wilson Pro Overgrip is really good. Dry AND tacky. I just got a thirty pack of white. You ought to try it.;)

Oh, and a cat I hit with gets HEAD stuff free. They make an overgrip that is really tacky (at least when it is new). It's perforated and it comes in black. I forgot the name.

I don't know why I've been asked to not mention supergrap, but I do know that I wasn't told not to mention supergrap... so, I'm going to go ahead and throw my vote in for supergrap. It does come in black in case you were thinking otherwise.

I'm not sure about the ones you've listed but I used to use the Wilson Cushion Aire Super Tack Overgrip. Since I'm down to my last 12 grips of it (found 12 new ones in the closet this morning), I ordered four new overgrips to try: Wilson XTra Tack, Wilson Pro, Prince MicroZorb, and Luxilon Luxi-Grip Tacky. I'll try and let you know how that turns out.

i'd say duratac is the tackiest even though i hate the feel of it.

Wilson XTra Tack...I used it last night and it was like Fly-Paper...even when it was raining it remained tacky.

how do find making grip changes with something so tacky? i've found my hand would get stuck sometimes and i didn't have the proper grip to hit my shot

I don't really find much of a problem. I typically have two hands on the racquet before my opponent hits the ball (2 handed backhand) and I just use my left hand to help adjust the grip if needed. I've just found that I feel much more confident with a tacky overgrip compared to one that is "not so tacky." I've tried the TournaGrip, Yonex Super Grap, etc. and none of them are tacky enough for me. My hands stay so dry (I don't need any absorption) that if I don't have something extremely tacky I have problems holding on to the racquet.

TB, you may want to try those tacky towels (i think gamma sells them?) that you rub on your hand. one of my partners has one and it's like putting fly paper on your hand it's so tacky.

Of the four I ordered, the Wilson XTra is by far the tackiest...probably the tackiest overgrip I've ever used. I've tried the MicroZorb and Luxilon Tacky I ordered at the same time and the XTra Tacky is the tackiest. Your hand will not move once it touches this stuff.

I think the one you want is Prince MicroZORB, if I recall correctly.
