I want to avoid the extra weight of a leather grip on a racquet but some of the "synthetic" grips are awfully squishy. Anyone know a non-leather that's pretty firm.?

The Gamma Hi-Tech is the firmest non-leather grip I've ever tried; however, it's weight is almost as high as a leather grip. My current grip, the artificial leather grips from RPNY Tennis, is a very firm grip. It is also very light weight...and I mean VERY light weight. It weighs about 3 grams. Also, it is incredibly thin; so if you like your grips current size you may not like it after you apply this grip. It will feel about a half size smaller. The grip is made to make the Grip plus an overgrip equal exactly the advertised size of your grip.
