i've got and old prince comp, and in this particular case comp stands for composite of graphite and fiberglass.

Comp in the 80's means Composite. Most of the time back then when a racquet had COMP in the name that indicated it had less graphite and more fiberglass than the flagship model that was out of the same mold.
