View Full Version : What Racquet?

I Am A high level 14 Year old Junior girl looking for a new stick.
have narrowed it down to the Technifibre 320 16x18 Or 18x20 . Tried 120z + Racquets which I like but since I play up and deal with big hitters these racquets are a little too much for me till I grow.Has Anyone hit with these two racquets or have other suggestions in the 11.6-12.0 range I am an aggressive all court player. Thanks!

I've hit alot with the TF 320 with the 18,20 string pattern and liked it alot.
Good response and EXCELLENT control. You can basically hit anywhere on the court. But the racquet isn't very powerful at all.
I haven't hit with the 16x20, but i hope to play with it in the next week
BTW, what racquet are you using now? Since this doesn't have much power, i'd suggest something else if your coming from something with a lot (like a Babalot)
I wrote what i though about it in another thread :P

Thanks for your help I hit with the T 335 18x20 today and loved it but its a lot of racquet for me to swing against a hard hitting 18 year old. Would
really suggest this racquet to anyone for a try. Its awesome. It can do anything- you just have to be a bit bigger than 90 lbs. Hopefully I'll be ready for it in a year.

in response to what raquet im currently using: ummmm...I haven't stuck with the same raquet 4 over a month now;), I've been demoing like crazy, mostly waiting for the 320 to come out cuz I liked the specs on it. I loved the 6.1 ncode but it is a bit clunky and the 001 yonex is good but it isnt very forgiving. The pure control babolat has a bit too much power for me, so hopefully the 320 will do the job. BTW what do you string ur raquet with and at what tension? Thanx[/FONT]

No comment on string yet, i'm still playing around
I strung it with Fribergel Power at 56 when i got it and that felt great, but then i strung it at 55 with NRG2 and that feals horrible. I'm waiting on some Pro Red Code and Promix to string it with
