Does anyone know what the price tag is of the 03 white that is listed on the Japanese website that is closer to what MS uses-(18mains/ 1/4" longer)? I have a friend going to Japan who will pick a few up, but without reading the language I was hoping someone might now how much it is listed for and maybe a good place to buy it from, once we determine if it is viable? Thanks.

yes it comes with a coupon for a free kilo of bananas. In Japan, bananas are called "wonder fruit".

In my experience of JApan. I have been several times this year, the sporting goods especially tennis rackets are expensive. I live in the UK and the price for an RDS 001 here is £97.50 in japan it equated to £148 that is close to $300 of your dollars. steeeeeeeeeeeep

OK, now anyone know how much it is going for in usa dollars, or should I try to post the yen amount and try to change to usa $$ ?

well if you know the yen then you could either post it, find a converter, or simply do the simple technique of moving the decimal places.
100.00yen = 0.848dollars.

However, most people just move the decimal 2 places to the left.
Is not accurate, but is what I do and mostly everyone when dealing with yens.

I'm from Japan and thought I could help you out.
Went to Prince's japan website and here's the info.

http://www.daiwaseiko.co.jp/tennis/products/rackets/o3/io3xfw.html

Tax included 35700yen. (w/o tax 34000yen but you pay tax everywhere in Japan. Consumer tax is 5%)

With today's currency rate it is 306.556 US dollar.
By the way, racquet usually costs around US$300 in Japan.

I noticed that the Sharapova O3 white is called O3 XF WHITE and there are other O3 White so if you want the one with her signature, make sure to get the right one.

Some of the cool tennis store in Tokyo is Artsports, Windsor, Eddy.

Hope this helps.

Table tennis equipment is much cheaper in Japan then in US and Europe, while Tennis equipment is much more expensive. Strange.

According to the Japanese website, Maria Sharapova uses O3 White with 18mains and an extra .25 inch in length? That's interesting.

kaztennis, I notice you have the Yonex Rd-22. A friend lent his to me. Do you know its specifications? What is its strung weight and swingweight, do you know? Thanks.

I don't see a way to order on the daiwa website. Does anyone know how to order the o3 white with 18 mains from daiwa or elsewhere?

What is the usual string pattern of the O3 White? 16/19?

Yes, but Sharapova has 18/19 and there is an o3 white racquet, on the daiwa site, which has the 18/19 pattern.

What ?? I had no idea that O3 came in extra length, then Why does Prince sell this extralength O3 in US?? If they did i would have bought it 3 seconds after it came out. I really wanted it to be 0.5 inches longer, but those idiots at Prince did not make it. So i did not buy it. And why does maria need a extra long racket anyway? with that long arm and legs she could play with 26inch racket?????
