I use a POG OS and usually string it with PSGD at 65 (2 lbs under max). Just got my reel of SPPP 17l (yeah!). What should I string this guy at? I know they recommend going lower on the tension, just not used to doing that

Wow I think that is way too high when I used the 17l I strung at 54lbs in my LMIXL. Do remember that this holds tension very well, it will have a slight drop and then stay.

Well, you have to increase tension on larger headsizes. Having said that, SPPP@61.5lbs on my 90sq" frame is excellente!

I really liked it at 54 on my racquet...so I'll get it strung at 56 or something next time because it loses some tension the first day.

60 lbs it is - just strung it this morning. I started at 62 but once I saw how resiliant it was I dropped to 60 - can't wait to hit with this bad boy!

I dropped down 7lbs. on my Head FXP Tour and as far as tension goes it feels the same as Gamma 18g Professional at 67. The Gamma is waaaaaaaaaay too soft for me so I really love the SPPP.

Dude, finally played last night with the SPPP in my POG OS at 60lbs - wow, great spin, I'm loving it. What a great feeling string too - played 3 sets and arm feels fine this morning. How does this stuff compare to Babolat Pro Hurricane Tour?

I use 56 with sppp (or alu-power), 58-59 with regular strings.
