Overseas shipping racquets stringed or not?

Hello all,

Ah. I just realized that I posted this in the wrong section.
If the administrator is reading this, could you forward this to the "Racquets" Section.

Anyway,
I was thinking of having some racquets sent from overseas, Japan to be
exact. My question is whether to have them strung or not. If they were
in their polybag, or whatever that plastic bag they keep racquets in, wouldn't it be alright?

Now Japan to the States is far, taking about a week. But in some cases, even in the States, shipping may take a week.

So that leads me back to that question.

What is Tennis Warehouse's opinion on shipping strung racquets?

Well... I dont know if this will make a difference. But in japan its a bit more hummid than it is here in america so that could change how the strings are played.

Get your frames strungwhen they arrive. Even if you are like Brad Gilbert and don't like freshly strung frames, you still want to know that you havwe a chance to go to the same person to give you a consistent string job.:cool:
