ashaway dynamite 16 and 17 gauge

To anyone who has used both of these strings how would you say they match up? and the pros and cons of each?

Only tried the 17g. I found it too harsh for me.

I think the 16g is a little harsher feeling than the 17g. I like the color of the 17g better also.

Most will prefer the feel and power of the thinner version. I've been known to use the 16 gauge in a Dunlop 200G at 45 lbs. The control and pop is very good and I simply can't break the string. Dynamite maintains good playing characteristics for a relatively long time, too.
