Kills brain cells and makes you crazy, shrinks your balls and manhood, makes your bones brittle, weakens your ligaments, makes you hairy and pimply, etc etc
Marius, if your are interested in a solid review of the potential dangers of steroids, I suggest :
Street C., Antonio A., and Cudlipp,D "Androgen use by athletes: A Reevaluation of the health risk" Can. J. Appl. Phys. 21(6):421-440, 1996.
This is probably the most unbiased and accurate review on the topic so far.
Try search it on www.pubmed.com or www.cochrane.org

It's common knowledge that abuse of steroids is dangerous. Hell, people have known smoking is hazardous to your health for over half a century, but still haven't quit. You want to try and further educate people who don't already know these things, great.
However, to even make the suggestion that steroids was linked to T.O.'s "alleged" suicide attempt because he's a football player and has issues is wrong.

Interestingly, there's been some data around suggesting (but by no means confirming) that estrogen supplementation may forestall the development of Alzheimer's. So you guys just need your doc to put you on some estrogen.

Thought TO's famed publicist made it perfectly clear that he has 25 million reasons not to commit suicide, that a man of his statue would never do such a thing.

I'm already on estrogen therapy. It's called old age. :) My T/E ratio is dropping as we "speak".

I seriously don't remember the name since I am mostly a Tennis player/watcher only. So I do not know whether that guy plays Football or Basketball (I narrowed it down to two, probably basketball though since I remember that his build wasn't big). If anybody could enlighten me with the name so I can search for it and laugh at it again, it'd be much appreciated.
