hey there, im new to this forum and am wanting to get a new tennis racquet.

im 17 and have previously been playing with a head tritech, i snapped the frame on this though so am getting a new one - also i've improved a lot since i got that racquet so im looking to get a better one.

to be honest i like to play all round the court, i can hold the baseline quite well and like to come to the net when i get the oppurtunity.

i'm looking to spend under 90 on the racquet and have found the "zylon 360 pure control" online for 65 (about $120-$125) but have never heard of it. my mate recently bought the Babolt Pure Storm Mp for about 70 and i rellay liked that, but its no longer in the sale so its 110.

can anyone recommend any other racquets i might like?

thanks for any help in advance.

The PCZ 360 is no longer being made (best I understand). The specs are very similar to the Pure Storm. I had one for a while. All around, a very nice frame. I like hitting with lots of spin so the fairly dense string pattern bugged me a little (although it was great for backhand slices). You may check out the DNX 9 by Volkl (it is also 98" but a tad bit heavier). Another 98" frame that you can get for cheap is the M-Fil 300 (very similar to the PCZ but with a more open string pattern). The only downside with the M-Fil is that it is hard to find in certain grip sizes (but at $90, it is a great deal).

A friend of mine uses the PC Zylon 360. It's a very nice frame. Nice cushioned response - a little muted - zero vibration and very good control. Power is adequate. It's probably a bit lighter than some of the sticks people on these boards rave about, but I didn't think that was a negative at all - it was quite manoeuverable as a result. All round I was quite impressed with it when I hit with it. I could live with one quite happily.
