I called Wilson about getting replacement grommets for
the Japanese Tour Fed ncode and the guy basically said that
that version fo the racquet is not even allowed to be released in
the US and he asked if I somehow got it on eeeeee - bayy. They also
don't have grommets (US rep) for it, so I guess I'll have to
get it from the Japanese wilson rep.

onehandbh,
Can you tell me if the grip on your Japanese Tour Fed is the same length as the US Tour? Or is it the same as the grip on the nSix-One 95 or 6.0 85 or 95 (i.e., shorter)?

I'd really like to know. Many thanks in advance!

Btw, re the grommets, I can get you the name and contact information of a tennis retailer in Tokyo, if you need one. (He's the friend of a friend here.)

the grip is a little longer than my PS 85's grip. I think it's the
same grip length as the US retail ncode grip. The only thing
I know to be definitely different is the drill pattern of the
strings. I don't know what the composition, balance,
weight differences are. w/o no overgrip and strung with
17g poly, 16g gosen, 4 3/8 grip, it weights 359 grams.
It would be hard to determine the composition b/c it plays
so different than the stock ncode due to it's wider cross
pattern in the sweetspot.

That would be great if I could get a bunch of extra grommets
for the future in case it gets hard to obtain later on.

Hope it's not too much trouble, but would you mind measuring the length of your Tour Fed's grip, say, from the butt cap to the end of the leather?

Appreciate your strung measurements without overgrip. I understand what you're saying about the difficulty of determining the composition...

I'll contact my friend here and get that information.

Thanks.

It's about 8 inches from the butt cap to the end of the
leather. There was one Japanese website that used to
say it had kevlar but I don't remember which site that
was.
