Wow I think I get several hours of play on TiMo and it starts to fly on me.. like the first 3 hours I can put heavy spin and great control... after that it starts to act like a trampoline.. by the 4th hour, if I haven't snapped the strings already, it really starts to fly! anyone else get this too?

I know ALU power lasts several hours longer then this...

Hard to say. I just started playing with it. Before that I used BB Ace 18 which is similar. I'd say timo has a bit more spin, less power, more feel so far. Not sure about the tension properties of it though. Durability is low so i'm guessing even if the string doesn't break the lasting qualities of the string may be less than stellar.

never kept it in for longer than 5 hours because it killed my shoulder. performance was consistent for the 5 hours it was in though.

Not me. However, I've always used it in hybrids with syn gut.

i hybrid it with nat gut at 56,60 it gets a tad less spin than kevlar, but alot more power which is a plus.

I usually got 6-8 hours out of TiMo 18 before I was spraying balls everywhere. I loved it until then, but decided it wasn't worth it for me to restring that often, so I no longer use it.

Could not agree more.

Similar results. Except I didn't really like it during the first 3-4 hours of play. It was way too stiff/boardy and had a lot of trouble getting balls deep (no power) with my wilson ROK. The best play was between 5-10 hours. Good balance of spin and decent power. Now after 15+ hours the springs are like as everyone else has said- very trampoline like. Very disappointed in this expensive setup I used: NXT OS cross + Timo 18 mains

totally agree that 4-5 hours max, then control just goes out the window.

I find the same thing for Ace.

So thatīs it, pals.
We all agree that TIMO loses control real fast. How are you folks doing with this issue? Can any of you give me an alterative to it (great control AND longer playability holding)?
Thanks

If it's losing it real fast perhaps you should string it tighter to compensate for the tension loss. a few hours of break-in compared to hours of play afterwards.

Hybrid it with a 16 or 17 gauge syn gut with 6 ibs higher than the TIMO main. Its the cross that losses its stiffness first.
