I mean it depends on when this one finishes. If the players manage to come on before half 8, then 2 and a half hours of play is definitely enough.

Marathon match umpiring is now equal opportunity employment. I'm thinking Mo wanted no part of this match so the pool was opened up for other masochists and this very good official of the opposite sex "won" the prize.

Anybody know her name?

Look you are a hardcore Fed fan. You obviously have a biased view about this. Most objective fans may not share your view.
Even if 'vulture' isnt the right word, Fed definitely had a weaker field in his early slam finals than what Nadal or Djokovic had.
Only counting the most number of slams should never determine who the greatest is
The current field is a million times weaker than what Federer had in his early years.

Plus Nadal's USO's and second Wimb also weren't exactly strong wins.

Djokovic's 2014-2016 was kinda weak too.

So enough with the bias against Fed.

Can Anderson at least get 40 on Isners serve. Even if he blew it , that torture would be preferable at least there would be some excitement

Anderson deserves to win this and should but he won't in all probability. Has wasted as many changes as fed did against him in the 5th set to break and press home the advantage.

Anderson needs to get balls in play when he is up. Sometimes allowing the pressure of playing another point especially this far into a match is all that needs done. John completely spent here, form is non existent, he only need help him over the edge.

I hope the audience doesn't have plans tomorrow - they came to watch Nadal-Djokovic, and now they might not even get to see them if they have somewhere to be tomorrow.

The record for longest match is 11:05, we are currently at 6:25, over half-way there.

Lol. Watching ESPN Spanish channel and heard someone said in English in the background 'I have to go to the bathroom'.

Lol...the number of times Anderson has had Isner at 0-30 and yet, without fail, Isner either serves his way out of it or Anderson fails to hit makeable returns!

How the f did Isner get broken in set 4 ? Someone please explain. If only he had held serve and taken the TB there, we'd be half way into the Djokodal match now

THe only reason I don't want Anderson to win is because every time there is a break in play h needs 3 games in a row to win and that seems like too much :p

a hardcore fed fan...lmao but you aren't biased?. and rofl are you the authority on objective fans? never said anything about the goat as I realize there are too many factors, but if arguing against fed vulturing slams makes me a hardcore fed fan than the likes of hitman are hardcore fed fans. keep trying.

who are these objective fans by the way? everything that is said at this forum is with a biased perspective, hardly anyone is objective including tennis commentators too. quit pulling things out of your ass.

also people cannot whine about fed breezing through draws(which is such an exaggeration) and say he is not that great or w/e and then still use him as a measuring stick. it doesn't work lik e that. also if he isn't all that great due to his weak era, which imo is such bs, then the people who nadal and Djokovic beat to get their slams are not that great either considering a lot of them fed.

also if anything you are coming from a far bigger bias than anything. done with this pointless conversation.

Isner isn't coming anywhere close to breaking Anderson. Anderson is winning his service games 40-0 or 40-15. Isner is really struggling to get through his service games.

When the hell did Anderson start being able to play for hours? He was always a bit part player, and now all of a sudden he's marathon man.

Mcenroe is getting super peeved at the length of the match. Hilarious.
