Sounds like a plan, so far my best showing in 18s has been quarters. Man was the second seed pissed. (I won, 2 and 2)

hahha well done dude :)...
Thanks BC. The best part was his coach was watching and said something like "We're going to work hard tomorrow, lots of running". The kid had a priceless look on his face, I kinda felt bad for him......for about two seconds. ;)

Hi Sani! Glad you had a good Valentine's Day. My kitty was sick that day so it wasn't a good day for me...was worried and couldn't take her to the vet...it was closed due to the snow/ice storm we had :( Luckily, she is much better to day. Hope you enjoy your time at home:D

If you decide not to, maybe I will make it my new avatar. However, I took the superhero quiz, and it turns out I am Superman. :)

hahahaha...what a great picture of you. Although I never thought you'd be the type to settle for Robin. You seem more like a Batman to me, LOL.

Like 15 of us decided to dress up like superfriends a few years ago for Halloween. However, everyone was required to buy costumes of little kids--not adults. So the costumes were all small on everyone. They were the costumes with the plastic masks with the rubber band string around the back. Remember those??

Anyway, we picked out of a hat and I ended up as Robin. LOL We had great fun that night. It was a riot. :)

Good morning denizens! Coffee please, a large steaming cup of caffeine and sugar sounds pretty good right now.
Drak, how was your V-day? I can imagine something romantic out of you on this day. Halloween? Come on, I know a bit better - role playing is perfectly acceptable so no need to be bashful with us. :-D

CC, Valentines was great! I set up a whole mystery/mission impossible theme with my s/o. She had to figure out some riddles, and other stuff to guess where I was meeting her. She was receiving clues all week thru email, messages on her phone, anonymous cards on her car etc. Of course she had the role of a secret agent so she was not permitted to talk to me about any of these "mysterious" clues she was receiving all week long.

She even received instructions of what to wear, how to have her hair, and I called the restaraunt beforehand so they were in on it. She was directed where to sit, and what drink to order. She then received more mysterious clues from the waiter. It was a blast. She really enjoyed the whole , dark/mysterious/danger thing going on. :)

Throughout the whole thing she kept having to play a cassette with the mission impossible them song, and would then get more instructions.

Of course, all the clues "self destructed". LOL

It was lots of fun. :)

Of course, the "fireworks" afterwards were awesome too.

That sounds like so much fun Drak. Did the orders continue on into the evening? ;) Have you ever done one of those murder mystery dinners or weekends? That's something I've always wanted to do but they only have host them once a year here at one of the hotel/restaurants. That has always sounded like so much fun.

Okay, you have edited so I now have one question answered. lol.

drakulie - I've just wasted two hours fiddling around with Photo Shop on that pic. I've gotten it vertically arranged, but I'm obviously not very good with PS...

I'll work on it some more later. Back to work....

CC, I haven't done one of those dinners, but did go to a party where there was something similar.

I got the idea for Valentines from a book I read a few years ago, "1001 Ways to be Romantic". Yes, even though I party and kid-- I am a hopeless romantic. It is a great book. I love doing goofy/silly things like that. The people at the restaraunt were really cool, and really got into the whole "role playing" as well. And yes, the "instructions" went on in to the night which included a certain more "appropriate wardrobe". YUMMY!

Sorry guys, but this one is for the ladies. Two of my co-workers are going to the Il Divo concert in a couple of months. I spent the entire night last night listening to their music, looking at their pictures, discussing them in detail (the one I was working with is just a little in love with Seb). ;)
So, this is my little contribution to the girls and if anyone wants to share who their favourite is, please feel free (mine is Urs).

Sebastien, Urs, Carlos and David.
Every once in a while I'm very much a girlie girl and have to swoon at this little quartet of unbelievable talent.

Oh I can't wait to see this. Is this the first time you've had an avatar KK?
Yup. (Actually, I have all users' avatars disabled in my Profile on TT. I think they're silly. And I'll KEEP-ON with that even if I succeed with this avatar.)

BUT ... if I'm gonna be silly drakulie/Robin is the one....

KK, excellent - I seriously can't wait, and know Drak is just twitchin' at the anticipation of it. :)

Hey BC! You bet it's morning here. I'll get a few hours of sleep soon and get up to run my Friday errands and be back on track. It's 9:39 here, so I'm not sure the time difference from you.

I haven't been there yet. I worked the night shift and got off at 6 am so I will sleep for a few hours only today to reset my body clock for my days off. Otherwise I am awake all night (which actually wouldn't be so bad considering you Aussies are on then). ;)

Well, CC, you have clicked UP another notch or two on KK's "Cred Meter."

Curious about what you considered good singing, I indeed, listened to your Il Divo link. Those guys actually have very good voices ... good harmony, too. I'm impressed.

Did you ever listen to The Nylons? I think you'd have enjoyed them, too.

Indeed I have heard them and I do enjoy very much. I appreciate talent as opposed to marketing and I am a fan of classical music as well (little known fact). I will strive to continue to rise in your esteem. ;)

lol i cant believe ur all still going at it in the maria thread.. it is getting very ridiculous dont u think cc?

Ahh BC, we are debating for the sake of the fun of it at the moment. MS has not been an issue today. There are always fun things to go at though.

Be careful Drak - I would check the forecast for acid rain - you know that'll kill ya! ;)

Have I even seen a Kangaroo? Of course! We got 'em at the Bronx Zoo, baby. (I think so, anyway. My memories of the zoo are clouded by the bigger stars -- your lions and tigers and bears -- but I think I've seen them...)

omg ok just answer me this.. does this guy really feel the need to say the opposite of what other people is saying? coz hes starting to really irritate me.. i read in a book once this is a symptomp of schitzophrenia and autism.. another symptomp is that no normal human could really have an intelligent conversation with him.. and if this guy has schitzo shouldnt he be in the mental hospital?

and kangaroo boxing? is he really that dumb to believe theres such thing as a roo boxing? should i really use the ignore button?

Yes, yes he does.

Just remember that he will drag the debate in here which is against the rules of the bistro. Fee swears by the ignore button. :)

KK - the email users function has been disabled. I clicked on your screenname yesterday and there is no link.

I am home. Left the tournament on Wednesday, came home on Thursday, spent most of the day in bed. I am going to hit in about 15 minutes, and I will see how I feel after that. Hope everyone is doing well. :)

Morning Cafe :). I'll be needing a freshly made power-smoothie and some maybe a good light sandwich, I'm playing in an hour and a half ;).

This is a weird comp I'm in, it's a RR singles comp, and the guy running it has felt the need to 'fill the roster' as opposed to 'run as many people in a grade as are good enough'. The result is there are 8 players in Div 1, but only 4 of us that should really be there. It means, of the 7 matches, for the 4 of us, 3 are challenging and 4 are unfortunately much less challenging (I'm avoiding the word boring here, just...), and they're easy-wins.

Anyways, I should go get ready. Hope all have good days / nights / wkends.

KK: I do wonder if some of PS work isn't turning a R into a K or a KK? Can't wait to see if I'm right ;)

I have enabled the option to allow other users to email me, but when you look at my public profile it says there is no contact info for me. It used to say 'click here to email Fee' and then the TW form would come up. I don't see that for anyone anymore.

I just took a one hour lesson (its a lovely day here in NorCal). It's the first time I've hit since October and I am so out of shape its shameful. But it was still fun.
