Djokovic vs Nadal

Important hold for Nole 3:2* - A really great and very intense match - both guys will have great rivalry in the future.

Yes, Rafa cranks it up, but Djoko's a lot tougher, now. I predict the 2nd set will be decided in a tie-breaker.

Lol. I´m just laughing and nodding my head at these people who doubt Nadal on this stuff. Each day we´re running out of names of people who can beat him on clay. Berydych, Youzhny, Fed, Canas have all been whooped in straight sets and yet people pick Joker for tomorrow? Yes, his streak will eventually end, just like Fed not winning Wimbledon but it ain´t happening this year. Joker has 75 written on his big egotistical head. Nadal will ¨control¨the match tomorrow in a surprisingly easy straight set win.

What did I say yesterday? I told you it wouldn't be close. Soul number 76 is Davydenko. :)

Yes, but Youzhny is a much easier opponent than Novak. I hope Nadal rests up skips the match, and keeps his streak in tack, why chance it?

He kept his streak intact by taking the Joker to the woodshed.

Luckily for djokovic Nadal didnt seem to have the killer instinct. He had 12 break points but converted only 4,this could have been a double bagle.
67 points won by Nadal to Djokovic's 46,Nadal faced only 1 breakpoint and hit 30 winners and only 12 UE.
Amazing

BTW,Djokovic was "in control" all the way

Unlike all the guys you just named Djokovic easily has the best backhand of them all. That one stroke alone is the biggest difference maker against Nadal on any surface. If Joker serves well he has a chance, he's already shown he can hang in tight sets against Nadal and he has no fear against the big name players. He should finish at #3 in the rankings at years end. I'm picking Nadal to win but if Joker plays well it will definitely be tight. The high spinny balls to the backhand won't bother Joker that much.

the joker served over 70% and he was still thumped 6-2, 6-3!

Now YOU have really blown my mind. lol. He gave up 6 games to soul number 74 Bracciali with the dizzy spell. #76 should be tired after his matches with Starace and Robredo. His soul will come to rest in 4 games by the painted-Cortex of Nadal tomorrow afternoon in the Rome coliseum. Nadal may even go to the bakery with a bagel or breadstick in mind.

The amazing thing from Nadal is that Djokovic played well, much better than he has been playing on clay and still, he lost 6-2 6-3. That proves again how tough is to beat Nadal on clay. I think Djokovic is a little overrated on clay, he is good but he is not better than Ferrer, Robredo or Berdych to name a few. Indeed Ferrer beat him in Montecarlo in straights and Gasquet should beat him in Estoril if he had not choked like a club player.
On hardcourts and grass he is a contender for any title. Be careful Federer.

Are you Nadal's publicist or something? Now, make now mistake about it, what Nadal has done with this clay court streak is amazing. But you cheapen it with these post of your counting down the "victims" as you call them. And talking about what Nadal will do to them, blah, blah, blah. You are kinda like the guy who goes out and buys a Bentley and ruins it buy going to put 20 in spinning rims on it and putting in all the speakers anyone can fit into a car. Even Federerfanatic, one of the most diehard Federer fans out there doesn't even do this(some people refer to him as a troll), and mind you he could do the same with Fed's grasscourt streak, Fed's hardcourt streak, ect. But you are the first one to call Federerfanatic out for trolling. I just don't get it.

Didn't Novak beat Robredo like a drum last week? Hardcourts yes, he is a force to be reckoned with, but grass? If I were Federer I'd be more afraid of Gasquet when it comes to grass since he actually owns titles on the green stuff.

Yes, but Robredo isn´t at his best now. He really struggled to beat Garcia-Lopez and Andreev, even Gaudio forced him to 3 sets.
He isn´t a contender for the FO in my opinion. On grass his serve is really good and his shots are flat and deep, really hard to return. If Federer isn´t at his best he has a chance.

Wait, isn't Fed's current hardcourt streak at zero?

I kid.

To any of those who missed this match. Joker was taken to school in a big way. Joker didn´t play bad at all. His soul has been taken by the Aeropro (painted Cortex) of Lord Nadal I of the Iberian Peninsula.

"I'll finish by saying that this match had me thinking that the men’s game is looking good for the immediate future. Djokovic and Nadal are a major rivalry waiting to happen, as are Djokovic and Federer, now that the Man has lost some of his Aura. Watching today, I felt like these guys measure up well to those daunting champions from the sport's past. John McEnroe, happily nodding away on the sideline after every great point, seemed to agree."

Almost missed this one, chill man, having some fun. Relax. Other people have done the same or perhaps worse when guys like Vive make personal insults to Nadal, but since you hate him you have no problem with Vive's posts. But you take issue with mine since I'm a Nadal fan. It's called a double standard. You taking this so personally doesn't make it fun. Adding a little poetic touch, spicing it up. I've been inspired by Ross K's Babolat Alliance thread, for those who don't know.

Davydenko has an exceptional skill on hitting the ball on the rise, but he'll find it difficult to do that against Nadal on clay. I predict a 6-2, 6-3 win by Nadal.
