Vaidisova is a better version of the overrated Shriekapova's game. Bye bye Maria in the round of 16.
You are posting more and more crap on this board. Where is Vaidisova's slam title?
:lol:That made me crack up.
Sharapova will defend her slam.
Nicole is too mentally weak to beat Maria.
I am not a Sharapova fan, in fact I'm amongst Sharapova haters because of her attitude and her screams... BUT you cannot compare these two players... Sharapova is certainly more talented and has a better overall game, while Vaidisova relies mostly on her serve... no serve = no game, also her mental strength is really poor (when compared to Sharapova)... as I said I don't like Masha but she's a fighter, she can win matches almost lost, mentally she's like a rock (most of the time) while Nicole lost so many matches that were already won that it's not even worth mentioning... to sum up Sharapova may win some more Grand Slams, while IMHO Vaidisova isn't a Grand Slam winner material...

Haha, you obviously haven't seen Sharapova's losses this year then.

I will never forget the SWilliams-Shriekapova match at the Aussie and the VWilliams-Shutupova match at Wimby this year. Total and complete beat downs. I wouldn't expect anything different in the near term.
As for NicoleV, i am a huge fan. She has been on the doorstep of a major breakthrough several times, and didn't quite make it. She keeps getting closer and will make the breakthrough soon, she still so young and maturing, yet is already labeled as being metally fragile. Sure, she has been in the past, but that doesn't mean that the experience won't help her improve that in the future.
I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see her sweet groundies (not just a serve) and overall game take maria to the woodshed.
Well done........calling Maria "Shriekapova" or "Shutupova" is already so old fashioned and ridiculous. All of you critics pick up every single stuff (things that nobody is interested in) to run her down.
I don't like the Williams' sisters but I don't give them dorky nicknames......b/C it isn't worthy at all. And I mean look at them...already when I think of them hundrets of silly nicknames cross my mind
<Vaidisova> Her "groundies" are crap. Maria's powerful groundstrokes will kill her.
BTW I didn't know that Vaidisova possess an "overall game"........or is picking up balls from the ground already seen as overall game???????
@ Automatix
Oh I now what "baad things" you mean. RG: Sharapova-Schnyder right? But if you watch this scene exactly, you will see that Masha's service motion was already in progress when Schnyder put up her hand.......and you can't put up your hand when the service motion is already in progress....it's that simple......it's the rule. I'm pretty sure there is a vid of this scene on youtube.....at least I#ve already seen one there. So if you look up, you will see.....it's that obvious Masha isn't a cheater!!!! And if you ask me that "hand-putting up" scene was a bad try by Schnyder to ruin Maria's concentration during her service motion.
Shriekapova is ugly and her shrieks are manish, Serena and Venus will beat her manish ass down.
Your saying that Maria is more mannish than Serena? Get a clue.
Her voice and shrieks are more mannish than Serena.
These pics are all fixed up.
So.........so, whether fixed or not still her right. Still Maria Sharapova right. So i didn't get any point from you . Are you alright there???
Look at some of his other posts. He might be ******** or he is a troll.
Don't you think she'll be able to improve on that front with experience/time or is she doomed?

He obviously has a substance problem which affects his eyesight.Your saying that Maria is more mannish than Serena? Get a clue.
That's the truth. You only have to listen to the ball bounce before a serve to know it. When I play the sound I hear when I bounce it before a serve it's not that loud.Yeah that's a "nice" little story, but Maria's grunting is by far not that loud on the court as it is on TV. All the microphones on the court just boost all the sounds.....and therefore Masha's grunts sound soooo loud. So it's absolutely not her fault.
You left out 'extraordinarily bitter' in your assessment of Martina....including the high and mighty but often WRONG Martina Navratilova--...
Back to the Vaidisova/sharpova match-up: I agree that Nicole is the stronger and more powerful, but she'll still lose to sharapova 3 times out of 4 at majors until she gets her head together.

I am no fan of Sharapova but she is marching straight to that US OPEN final she is just too good. Vaidisova is a decent young player but I don't see the mental toughness yet to win a big match like this. We will see. I will be stunned if Sharapova does not make the US OPEN final.
I gotta agree with you on this one, Masha4evs. I couldn't believe how much flak everyone--including the high and mighty but often WRONG Martina Navratilova--gave sharapova for that incident. She was not only in her service motion, but her serve was actually over the net by the time Patty had her paw up. The chair made the right call there, and to say Sharapova was a poor sport for not forking over a point was just silly. Patty should have just played the point--the scream wasn't during HER serve. Plus she encouraged the crowd to hoot and boo after the ump's call, which was poor sportsmanship in my opinion.
Now the serving practice while her opponent was howling on the ground in agony? That was kinda tasteless.

hahaha so mashaforever and phoony, what can you say about your Maria now? I seriously am dying to hear what pathetic reply/defense you have to her now.
1st of all thanks for your support to follow up about Maria out of the open. No defence but the fact was that although Maria continued to battle, Maria was clearly gripping and couldn't find a way to regain her rhythm against the steady and ambitious Polish 18-year-old.
Actually she already done her best from losing on the 1st set and chasing 6-1 on 2nd set. Just luck not on her side on 3rd set . She just 20, still alot of years to come for her to win and grab all slams and titles .
C'mon Maria..........
You’re a brave and loyal fan, I am glad that all the posts positive or negative hasn’t shaken your belief in Sharapova
